Lauren Blankstein is multi-disciplinary artist living and working in New York City. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Western Literature and Civilization from the University of Western Ontario in Canada and a graduate degree in Journalism with honors from Humber College. Blankstein has studied art and design at various institutions in New York including New York University School of Continuing Studies, Cooper Union College, Educational Alliance, 92nd Street Y and she is currently studying in the Arts Intensive Program at the New York School of the Arts under the tutelage of Maurizio Pellegrin. She has shown in group exhibitions throughout New York City including La MaMa, El Barrio Artspace, Ceres Gallery, 92nd Street Y, Williamsburg Art and Historical Center. Her work is in private collections in Canada and the U.S.
